Arsenal are eyeing another ambitious move alongside attempting to sign Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior this summer.

The Gunners have been linked with a move to sign Real Madrid winger Vinicius as they plot an ambitious final few weeks of the summer transfer window.

It's been a slow start to the market for the Gunners as they carefully assess which players to target. It's no surprise that they are refusing to panic after such a successful 25/26 season.

Arsenal lifted the Premier League title and reached the Champions League final last term, so they can be cautious as they plan new signings.

The Gunners are undoubtedly one of the most attractive sides to play for in Europe at the moment, so it could be an exciting end to the window.

According to reports, Arsenal are interested in making an 'ambitious' move to sign Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez alongside Vinicius Junior.

The Gunners are clearly prioritising bringing in new forwards in the summer transfer window, with Alvarez and Vinicius two priority targets.

It certainly wouldn't be a surprise if Alvarez, who Fernando Torres described as 'the best player in the world', and Vinicius were separate deals, considering the former is likely to play through the middle as a striker, and the latter would likely play on the left-hand side.

Victor Gyokeres was brought to the club last summer to solve their centre-forward position, but the Swedish striker has shown signs of inconsistency.

Alvarez the ideal striker for Arsenal

One of the benefits of bringing in a player like Alvarez is the fact that he already has plenty of Premier League experience.

The Argentina international shouldn't need too much time to adapt, whereas Gyokeres is still getting used to the Premier League.

Alvarez has been there and done it with Manchester City and has continued to flourish since leaving the club.

It certainly won't be a cheap deal to get over the line, considering that Atletico paid a hefty amount to bring him to the club from Man City.

Either way, it could be the ideal striker signing for Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
