Liverpool continue to be linked with a move for Bradley Barcola after the attacker informed Paris Saint-Germain he doesn't want to sign a new contract with them. It emerged on Sunday that, besides informing the Champions League holders he does not wish to sign a new contract he is also open to joining Liverpool.

The Daily Mail reported that PSG are considering selling the France international, but Liverpool will seek a compromise since the Ligue 1 club is demanding around £140m for the 23-year-old.

Liverpool have so far brought in Victor Munoz from Osasuna after hijacking Newcastle United’s deal for the Spanish international. Below, we look at the latest rumours involving the Reds.

Ibrahim Mbaye 'interest'

Barcola isn’t the only PSG player the Reds are interested in signing this summer. According to RMC Sport, Liverpool are among a number of clubs showing interest in Ibrahim Mbaye.

The report claims that as well as the Reds, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Chelsea,

Manchester City and Tottenham are all reported to have made enquiries about the young winger’s situation in recent weeks

However, the report also claims that any club wishing to secure Mbaye’s services this summer will have to pay PSG a fee in excess of €50m.

Cody Gakpo claim

Now for another claim from France: journalist Onze Mondial believes Barcola’s arrival is unlikely to be possible without Cody Gakpo first leaving Anfield and the sale is essential to getting a deal over the line for Barcola.

The Dutchman has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks, but there has been no suggestion that he will be allowed to depart Anfield this summer.

Vinicius Junior chance

Liverpool have an opportunity to sign Vinicius Junior as his future at Real Madrid remains uncertain.

It emerged over the weekend that Arsenal are keen to sign to bring the Brazil international to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

The Spanish giants are believed to want to extend Vinicius’ contract, but journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon has claimed on his YouTube channel that the Reds were the only club to respond positively when contacted by the forward’s representatives.

The 26-year-old has scored 128 times and claimed 100 assists from 378 matches, but his Real Madrid deal expires next summer.
