The Blues will take to the grass under manager Xabi Alonso for the first time in the Sydney Super Cup as we look to continue our pre-season prep with a positive result down under.
Alonso is excited to take charge of the opening match, highlighting during his pre-match press conference that he wants to 'build a competitive team' and have a 'good season', with the bedrock behind any success being 'hard work'.

Kicking off at 10.45am UK time on Tuesday, we'll be kitted out in our new 26/27 Nike **home****kit** for the first time, with our strip featuring a unique, quintessentially 'Chelsea' design.
Central to the kit’s design is the club crest, which has been refreshed and interwoven proudly in ‘Bright Blue’ in the fabric on the front of the shirt. There is a collar and a button-down neck, and ‘Midwest Gold’ accents for the rampant lion badge and Nike swoosh, which feature on both the jersey and the shorts.
