Daily Mail journalist Kieran Gill first broke that Jorgensen has returned to the UK for “transfer-related” matters.
Since then, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Jorgensen is on the verge of joining Strasbourg.
It means that Robert Sanchez is now likely to start the new season as Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper, while Mike Penders could be his deputy.

With it still being only July, there is still time for the Blues to bring in a new shot-stopper. During the World Cup, Chelsea were linked with Porto’s Diogo Costa.
A lot could depend on what happens with Sanchez during pre-season. What is certain is that Jorgensen is likely to have played his last game for Chelsea.
In terms of incomings, Chelsea are interested in both Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson as they look to add more experience to their squad. Welbeck is 35 now, while Henderson is one year older than the striker.
