Jorgensen had been part of the Blues' squad for their trip to Australia and Asia.
However, he departed the camp ahead of Wednesday's opening match against Western Sydney Wanderers.
Chelsea will also face Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday in Australia before fixtures against Juventus, AC Milan and Malaysian champions Johor Darul Ta'zim.
Transfer interest
talkSPORT understands Strasbourg are currently interested in signing Jorgensen this summer.
Meanwhile, Coventry City have also made an approach for the Denmark international.
The Sky Blues remain confident of re-signing Carl Rushworth to be their goalkeeper this season, though.
Rushworth spent last season on loan from Brighton as Frank Lampard's side won promotion to the Premier League as champions.
Coventry have seen two bids rejected by the Seagulls already this summer, with their latest offer worth £25million.
Brighton are understood to be holding out for closer to £30million for the former England under-21 international.
As for Jorgensen, he failed to secure a move away from Stamford Bridge in January.

Of his 12 appearances in all competitions last season, only five came in the league.
The 24-year-old, who signed from Villarreal in 2024, currently has five years left on his Chelsea contract.
Since joining the Blues, he has won both the Conference League and Club World Cup.
Jorgensen has also kept 11 clean sheets and conceded just 39 goals in his 36 total appearances for the club.
Chelsea goalkeeping options
Xabi Alonso's squad still contains three goalkeepers, despite Jorgensen's departure from their pre-season tour.
First-choice stopper Robert Sanchez is joined in Australia by youngsters Teddy Sharman-Lowe and Ted Curd.

Their goalkeeping ranks will also be boosted by Mike Penders later this summer following his loan spell at Strasbourg last term.
Penders was part of the Belgium squad which reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
