Arsenal transfer news## Arsenal and Real Madrid have been in frequent conversations during the transfer window, but things could be about to become tricky for the two clubs

Arsenal remain linked with Como central defender Jacobo Ramon - but Real Madrid could be a huge transfer barrier for the Gunners. Ramon swapped Los Blancos for Cesc Fabregas' side last summer.
He has since gone on to establish himself as a regular, not just at Como, but with Spain's U21s and U19s side. The 21-year-old has quickly become a European talent to watch and Mikel Arteta and co, as well as London rivals Chelsea, are believed to be interested.
However, any deal with the Serie A side will be complex as Real still own 50 per cent of his economic rights. This would inflate any transfer fee for him, as Como would have to send half of whatever they extract out of his talent to Jose Mourinho's side.

That is according to The Athletic, who also explained the buyback clause Real also have on the defender.
Centre-back has become a position which needs bolstering for Arsenal. William Saliba is set to miss a hefty portion of the campaign as a result of a back injury.
The Gunners have also been linked with John Stones, but now the former Manchester City defender looks set to move to Inter Milan.
Arsenal are also locked in negotiations about the prospect of signing Vinicius Junior from Real. The Brazilian's future at the Bernabeu is uncertain with the club in pole position to sign Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig.
Left-wing has been one of Arsenal's priority positions this summer. They have also already missed out on signing Morgan Rogers, who left Aston Villa to join Chelsea, despite Arsenal being in negotiation with Villa and his representatives for weeks.
Vinicius' contract at Real Madrid is up next year, which gives the Gunners some leverage over the Brazilian. However, it's also understood Mourinho wants to hold onto Vinicius.

Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta is believed to be personally leading the quest to bring Vinicius to the Emirates Stadium. The club are fully behind the prospect of bringing him to north London.
In the World Cup, he was a bright light in a disappointing campaign for Brazil. He helped himself to four goals and one assist in five matches in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
