Liverpool striker Keyrol Figueroa will be among the players available on loan this summer after the 19-year-old was left out of the first team’s USA tour.
Figueroa was involved in training with the senior squad earlier in pre-season but was among those cut from the group to travel to America.
The teenager instead took in a week-long training camp with the U21s in Slovenia, which ended with a brace in their 4-2 friendly win over NK Celje on Sunday.
Having now returned to Merseyside, This Is Anfield understands Figueroa will among a number of youngsters considered for a loan move this summer.
Any final decision over his future remains to be seen, with Honduran outlet Deportes TVC reporting that Liverpool could retain him for the upcoming campaign.

Liverpool negotiated a new contract with Figueroa over the summer which has allowed him to continue his trajectory as part of the youth ranks.
With Will Wright promoted to the first-team squad for pre-season, there could be an opportunity for the new Honduras international to play consistent minutes as first-choice striker with the U21s.
Last season saw Figueroa score 12 goals in just 781 minutes on the pitch for the U21s, averaging one every 65.1 minutes.
Any call will depend on the scale of interest and it is likely that the field will be open to suitors from abroad as well as possible moves within the English system.
Liverpool have already loaned out centre-back Amara Nallo (HJK Helsinki), goalkeeper Armin Pecsi (TSV Hartberg) and midfielder Kyle Kelly (Forest Green Rovers), while also selling Luca Stephenson (Bolton) and Carter Pinnington (West Brom).
Who else will leave Liverpool’s academy?

Midfielder Tommy Pilling is also set to join Slovakian side MFK Zemplin Michalovce in a deal similar to that which saw Pinnington move to West Brom – no up-front fee but with various financial incentives built into the package.
Kornel Misciur, a 19-year-old goalkeeper, is expected to head on loan to a non-league side, while the likes of Isaac Mabaya, Michael Laffey and Wellity Lucky could also depart.
Decisions on Trey Nyoni, Calvin Ramsay, Kieran Morrison, Lewis Koumas, Luke Chambers and Calum Scanlon will be taken later in the summer.
Liverpool already know centre-back Ifeanyi Ndukwe will need to spend the season elsewhere having failed to qualify for a UK work permit following his £2.6 million move from Austria Vienna.
