Hello, good evening and welcome to our live coverage of Stoke City's pre-season friendly against Everton from the bet365 Stadium.
Mark Robins' squad is back from a training camp in Austria and is stepping up preparations for the new Championship campaign with back-to-back home matches at headquarters. A test against David Moyes's Toffees will be followed by welcoming Valencia back to the Potteries on Saturday evening.
Stoke were last in action on Saturday with an extended friendly against Sheffield Wednesday before a delayed flight back to the UK. They played two 70-minute clashes - winning one 2-0 and the second 4-0.
Off the pitch, Robins and the club are still active in the summer transfer market to add to the arrivals of midfielders Ethan Galbraith, Svante Ingelsson and Djibril Soumare, defender Luke Graham and keeper Josh Griffiths. Incomings and outgoings are expected before a curtain raiser against Swansea on August 15.
