Everton are at Stoke City in tonight's pre-season friendly
Everton's pre-season campaign has so far taken them from Dundee to Bolton, and next up is a trip to the Potteries.
Stoke City provide the opposition for Tuesday night's friendly clash, with the hosts hoping for a drastic improvement on last season's 17th placed finish in the Championship.
Mark Robins' side will be aiming a little higher this time around, and Everton will know that they will face a stern examination in what is the Potters' penultimate friendly before their competitive action begins against Oldham in the Carabao Cup on August 8.
The Blues may not have had their shooting boots on in Saturday's goalless draw at the Toughsheet Community Stadium, but they are still to concede a goal this pre-season, and David Moyes will be pleased with organisation his side have shown.
With new boy Hayden Hackney in line for some involvement this evening he'll want to see more going the other way though, and our Blues writers Joe Thomas and Chris Beesley will be here for all the action.
