Mykhailo Mudryk is continuing to face issues while serving his ban from football after reports that the Chelsea winger is being sued and having his assets frozen by the British high courts.

Mudryk is currently serving a four-year suspension for allegedly violating anti-doping rules" href="https://www.footballtransfers.com/en/transfer-news/uk-premier-league/2026/04/chelsea-news-winger-mykhailo-mudryk-handed-four-year-doping-ban" target="_blank">currently serving a four-year suspension for allegedly violating anti-doping rules, with the 25-year-old having not played football since 2024 after testing positive for a banned substance.

And the difficulties appear to keep coming for Mudryk after a report from Italian outlet Derbyderbyderby" href="https://www.derbyderbyderby.it/calcio-estero/ancora-guai-per-mudryk-sequestrati-2-5-milioni-di-euro-per-una-presunta-violazione-sui-diritti-dimmagine/?intcmp=gazzanet-derbyderbyderby&refresh_ce" target="_blank">Derbyderbyderby who claim that the player is being sued by JJDS Management Limited for more than £5 million (€6m) for an alleged breach of image rights.

It is claimed that Mudryk signed a contract with the company when he joined Chelsea in January 2023 but has failed to pay the agreed portion of his advertising and commercial revenue.

The report states that the High Court in London have frozen assets worth £2.5m (€3m) from Mudryk’s bank accounts, while some sources have claimed that Mudryk’s spending has also been limited to £5,000-per-week while the investigation is ongoing.

Femis Segirov, the founder of JJDS Management Limited, is quoted as saying: "Mudryk's funds are frozen, the assets are blocked. Therefore, we are not concerned if the procedure takes a little longer. The credit has been adequately secured.”
