Arsenal Academy midfielder Laila Harbert has joined San Diego Wave on a permanent deal. Arseblog News understands that Arsenal retain a first refusal on the player.
Harbert, who captains the England U20 team, has previously spent time on loan at Watford, Southampton, Portland Thorns and Everton.
At Wave she will be reunited with former Gunners boss Jonas Eidevall. Wave assistant coach Natalie Henderson coached Harbert at England U17 level.
