Manchester City have confirmed their 28-man squad for their 2026 pre-season tour of Asia. Enzo Maresca has not included Jack Grealish in his squad as he continues to recover from injury.
Grealish spent last season on loan at Everton and made 20 appearances for the Merseyside club before injury cut his season short. In his first press conference as City boss, Maresca offered an olive branch to the 30-year-old, but his omission from the tour squad will fuel talk that Grealish is set for an exit this summer.
Kalvin Phillips is another City player who looks set for an Etihad departure this summer. The former Leeds midfielder has endured a torrid spell in Manchester since his move to City in 2022 and he is set to be loaned out for a fourth time with a return to Sheffield United in the offing.
With many City stars still enjoying a post-World Cup break, some of the club's academy stars will be given the chance to impress in Asia. Jeremy Monga, Kaden Braithwaite, Floyd Samba, Jaden Heskey and Ryan McAidoo are among the youngsters included in the squad.
Gianluigi Donnarumma and Phil Foden were not at the World Cup this summer and have been included in the squad. New signing Jeremy Monga has also been picked for the tour.
City will take on Inter Milan on Saturday, August 1, as part of the Hong Kong Football Festival. They will then fly to Seoul for a clash with a K-League XI on Wednesday, August 5, before rounding off their trip against Atletico Madrid on Sunday, August 9.
