Are Chelsea finally about to get their man? The club have Bournemouth’s Alex Scott on their radar but have been unsuccessful in their attempts to sign him so far.
Bournemouth have rejected a £64m offer for Scott from Chelsea, but that does not appear to have deterred the Blues.
Chelsea could make another bid for Scott, suggesting that they believe the midfielder is attainable this summer despite Bournemouth briefing that he is not for sale.
If their second proposal for Scott is successful, what would it mean for Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo?

Enzo Fernandez leaves
On TalkingPoints, one Chelsea supporter tipped Fernandez to depart Stamford Bridge if Scott arrives.
In this current market, the likelihood is that Scott will cost at least £100m. Chelsea are not going to pay £100m for a substitute.
Ultimately, this move would only make sense if Fernandez were on his way to the exit door.
The fact that Chelsea are willing to pay such big money for Scott would suggest that Fernandez is set for a transfer this summer.
For now, Real Madrid have cooled their interest in Fernandez. However, there is a long way to go before this transfer window closes.

Moises Caicedo gets new midfield partner
A successful second bid for Scott and Fernandez exit would, of course, see Caicedo get a new partner in the middle of the park.
Fernandez had that role last season until he was pushed further forward and Andrey Santos was brought into the team.
Santos is no longer at Chelsea, and Fernandez could follow him out of the exit door. And again, for £100m, Scott is not going to be on the bench. He will be lining up right next to Caicedo.
Right now, there are still a lot of ifs. Will someone come in for Fernandez? Is there a genuine chance of Bournemouth accepting a second bid for Scott? Let’s wait and see!
