Andoni Iraola used 22 different players in the 4-2 win over Sunderland in his first friendly of the tour over the weekend, which was unfortunately marred by another injury to Joe Gomez.
He has since welcomed back three World Cup players in a timely boost, but they are unlikely to be involved so soon after returning.

If you are in the UK and planning to tune in to the second friendly, it is going to be quite a late night, with the match not kicking off until 12.30am (BST) on Thursday (July 30).
Over in New York City, the match is taking place on Wednesday, July 29 at 7.30pm local time at the famous Yankee Stadium.
It is the third time the club has played at the ground, following previous visits in 2014 and 2019.
Home to the New York Yankees and MLS side New York City FC, the ground, which has a capacity of 47,309, is familiar to Iraola after he ended his career at NYCFC in 2015/16.

Liverpool will be without Gomez after his injury early in the win against Sunderland, with the centre-back joining Jeremy Jacquet to sit this one out.
The Frenchman has not suffered a new issue but is being carefully managed, with Iraola explaining after Saturday’s win that he is likely to only see minutes against Leeds.
Ryan Gravenberch, Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak all made their return to training on Sunday, but don’t expect them to play a big role, if any.
Several players were used for close to 70 minutes last time out, and Iraola could look to give others a similar run-out while still heavily rotating.

Liverpool expected to debut new 2026/27 away kit
Liverpool have announced their new away kit for 2026/27 will be released on Wednesday in the UK, which will be a white shirt with red shorts.
The team are, therefore, expected to debut their new look against Wrexham in New York.
