Arsenal are continuing to chase Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr in a blockbuster transfer that would rock world football if the Gunners pull it off.
The Brazil winger and the Spanish titans are locked in row over a possible contract renewal and the 26-year-old will soon enter the final 12 months of his deal. It's said he may be receptive to departing Spain as he "wants to feel loved" and Mikel Arteta is keen to see him playing in North London.
The Gunners have expressed interest with Real's leadership in what could be the biggest saga of the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, Arteta knows he must also offload deadwood to balance the books after Arsenal splashed the cash last summer before winning the Premier League. Here's all the latest news from the Emirates Stadium.

Vinicius Jr impasse
Vinicius Jr and Real Madrid are now facing an additional impasse alongside the stalled contract discussions, reports the Mirror.
It's claimed the winger will not re-join club training this week as his future in Spain remains in doubt.
Vini's agents are believed to be attempting to revive contract extension talks with the La Liga champions.
The 26-year-old is eager to secure the same £25m wages as French superstar Kylian Mbappe at the Bernabeu. The winger is understood to be pocketing between £12m to £15m at Real presently.
For Arsenal to land his signature, they will probably need to shatter their club transfer record and also make him the top earner at the club.

Arsenal are insisting on at least £15m for attacking midfielder Fabio Viera's signature.
This places the Gunners' asking price considerably above what Hamburg are anticipating, as the Bundesliga side are only willing to stump up around £8.5m for his services.
Sky Sports reports that while the Gunners remain steadfast for now, Viera is entering the final year of his deal in north London - and this could play into Hamburg's hands.
The 26-year-old Portuguese ace is also eager to re-join the club where he spent last season on loan in the Bundesliga.

Hamburg club chief Eric Huwer has confirmed they will not permit the transfer saga to continue indefinitely and will pursue another target.
He said: "We fell in love with Fábio a little bit last year. But we are not going to be unreasonable. If Arsenal say yes, we look forward to him. If they say no, we look forward to someone else."
