A total of five Nigeria-eligible teenagers were named in Arsenal's travelling squad to Girona, where the Premier League champions are holding a training camp as part of their preparations for the 2026-2027 campaign.

It was previously reported that Ethan Nwaneri, forward Andre Harriman-Annous, goalkeeper Khari Ranson and left-back Josh Ogunnaike were among the teenagers of Nigerian descent that boarded the team's flight from Luton Airport to Spain.

Through the official website, Arsenal have confirmed that a fifth teenager of Nigerian descent Ife Ibrahim was selected by manager Mikel Arteta for the week long training camp in Girona.

A dynamic midfielder, Ibrahim was called up to first team training several times during the 2025-2026 campaign, and made his senior debut in the closing minutes of Arsenal's 3-2 win over Kairat Almaty in the group stage of the Champions League.

Overall, the Hale End Academy graduate received two call ups to the first team, though he was an unused substitute in the FA Cup fixture against Mansfield Town.

In January 2026, Ibrahim signed his first professional contract with the north London club.

The 18-year-old recorded 32 appearances for Arsenal's youth teams last term, including games in the Premier League 2, UEFA Youth League, U18 Premier League, EFL Trophy and FA Youth Cup.
