Liverpool will debut their new 2026/27 Adidas away kit in their pre-season friendly against Wrexham after the club’s official launch.
The Reds unveiled their new away kit for the 2026/27 season at a launch event in Brooklyn on Tuesday evening. The kit is predominantly white with red shorts.
A bespoke pattern has been woven into the fabric of the shirt, described as taking inspiration from historic Anfield match tickets, and accompanied by red and grey detailing.
Thankfully, supporters do not have to wait long to see it in action, with Andoni Iraola‘s team to debut the away kit against Wrexham on Wednesday evening (12.30am Thursday BST).
Liverpool face the Championship side at Yankee Stadium in their second pre-season outing (7.30pm local time), following on from a 4-2 win against Sunderland over the weekend.
Also expect Giorgi Mamardashvili and Freddie Woodman to feature in the new goalkeeper strip, which is purple with black sleeves and another throwback to the ’90s.
Twenty-two different players were used in the first friendly, and similar rotation can be expected as the squad continue to partake in double sessions leading up to the match.

Iraola has been boosted by the return of Ryan Gravenberch, Florian Wirtz, and Alexander Isak from their summer break, but the trio will likely be handed minimal minutes, if any.
This will be the third time Liverpool have played at Yankee Stadium following previous visits in 2014 and 2019, and the first meeting against Wrexham since the last friendly in 2007.
