Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are in the race to sign Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo this summer.
Last month, Sport Witness covered claims from France that Liverpool are very keen on signing the forward, valued at €70m.
Chelsea and Arsenal from the Premier League have joined the Reds in the battle for the Belgian.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to state Liverpool, Chelsea and Atlético Madrid are following the player. He doesn’t report about Arsenal.
Matias Fernandez-Pardo wants to ‘explore opportunities’ this summer and hopes that Lille will grant his wish.
Loïc Tanzi also took to X to report Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Atlético Madrid are all interested. The 21-year-old has ‘asked to leave’, to play for a bigger club next season.

Lille standing firm
Lille signed Matias Fernandez-Pardo from KAA Gent for €10m in August 2024. He has a contract until 2029, and Transfermarkt value him at €35m.
The attacker has been trying to leave for almost a year and hasn’t altered his plans with the recent change of agents.
On Monday, his new agent held talks with Lille president Olivier Létang, who also spoke to the player yesterday.
Létang made it clear to them that Matias Fernandez-Pardo won’t leave despite his desire to secure a big move.
He said: “The player is under contract until 2029, and his departure is not a possibility. We’re counting on him, he knows it, and we’ve been very clear with him.
“He never had a release clause. Every player I told could leave has left. It’s the same old story as last summer, with yet another new agent.”
This won’t please the Belgian or his suitors, that includes Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Los Rojiblancos.
Last season, Fernandez-Pardo mainly operated as a striker and a left winger, managing eight goals and seven assists from 41 matches.
