Liverpool could bid up to £110m for Bradley Barcola
Liverpool are preparing an opening bid for PSG winger Barcola and could offer as much as £110 million to land the 23-year-old.

That is according to the Telegraph‘s Dominic King, following a wider brief to the media in New York after the club held encouraging talks with the player’s camp.
While reports on Tuesday suggested an initial valuation of £80 million, Liverpool reporters including The Athletic‘s James Pearce claim a deal could be proposed for closer to £100 million.
And with PSG using transfers for Elliot Anderson (£116m) and Morgan Rogers (£117m) to inform their price tag for a player into the final two years of his contract, King’s report pushes that even further to £110 million.
PSG value Barcola at £145 million but that is likely to be negotiated down after the France international made clear his desire to leave.

It has been well-publicised this week how a group led by Amit Bhatia is seeking to buy 30 percent of Liverpool Football Club.
Wednesday brought an interesting new update from Bloomberg, who said that Bhatia’s consortium plan to “eventually obtain a controlling stake” in the club.
If they are successful in their bid to purchase up to 30 percent of the club, they would have some influence but would not be the decision-makers; the power would remain with Fenway Sports Group.
If FSG were to then sell Bhatia a larger stake that totals more than their own, the new owners would take control.
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin have been approached the join the consortium.

On this day in 1958, the legendary Roger Hunt joined Liverpool from Stockton Heath, beginning a remarkable 11-year spell at Anfield which saw him score 285 goals in 492 games.
