Barcelona star Alejandro Balde has issued an unwavering response to the ongoing speculation linking him with a departure from the club.
This comes amid the assurance that, so long as he has his way, the defender will be going nowhere before the summer is out.
Full-back Balde is of course fresh off an injury-plagued campaign in 2025/26, culminating in the Spaniard losing his place in Hansi Flick’s first-choice XI.
With João Cancelo expected to return on a permanent basis, and youngster Jofre Torrents knocking on Hansi Flick’s door, Balde has in turn been linked with a surprise exit from the Spotify Camp Nou.
Speaking during an interview with Diario Sport on Wednesday, the subject of his immediate future was therefore put to the 22-year-old himself.
And Balde, as cited by journalist Fabrizio Romano, went on to assure:
“I am not leaving. Barça is my home. I’ve been at this club for 16 years, all my life. I want to succeed here, my mind is here. What I think about is continuing for many more years.”
