Watch Newcastle closely, and another factor appears. He receives possession under pressure without panicking, turns through tight spaces, wins second balls, then plays forward before defenders can recover. Arsenal occasionally lose rhythm whenever Declan Rice drops deeper to collect possession. Guimaraes would free Rice to attack space more often while giving the midfield another player capable of controlling matches with and without the ball.
