Liverpool won 4-2 against Sunderland in its first match under Andoni Iraola and is now set for the second, this time coming up against documentary-famous Wrexham in New York.

Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak and Ryan Gravenberch are all now with their teammates in the US, but Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo have gone back to the AXA Training Centre and will rejoin the squad next week when they return.

Center-backs Jeremy Jacquet and Joe Gomez are likely to miss out because of injury, while Giovanni Leoni and Joe Gomez are not back from long-term issues. Iraola could really do with some more depth of numbers at the back.

Trey Nyoni and Kieran Morrison, who both impressed in the last match, will be hoping to leave another big impression as they look to stake a claim ahead of the new season. Harvey Elliott is another who needs to leave a mark.

Wrexham's pre-season so far

Phil Parkinson's side has already beaten Manchester United and Leeds this summer, while it drew with Wisla Krakow before that.

After just missing out on the play-offs last season, Wrexham will be looking to make the Premier League next season. Its rise has been very quick under the new ownership.

How Liverpool got on in first friendly

Goals from Kieran Morrison, Dominik Szoboszlai, Federico Chiesa and Lewis Koumas were enough to secure a win for Andoni Iraola against Sunderland at the weekend.

Now, the Reds need to build on that performance and continue to show positive signs as the new season edges closer.

Any predictions for today's clash?
