Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has emphatically dismissed recent speculation linking FC Barcelona defender Jules Kounde with a summer move to Tottenham Hotspur.
In updates shared via X, Romano completely shut down suggestions that the North London club had opened talks or prepared a formal proposal for the 27-year-old French international. The transfer journalist delivered a blunt, unambiguous verdict regarding the media reports:
“There’s nothing between Jules Koundé and Tottenham despite the links in the recent hours. No interest, no negotiations.”
Speculation Debunked Following Rumored £56 Million Bid
Rumors had intensified across European sports media claiming that Tottenham Hotspur were preparing a £56 million bid to lure Koundé away from La Liga.
