Arsenal are among the clubs interested in Bournemouth winger Rayan, according to The Sun.
The 19-year-old joined the Cherries in January and has had a bright start to life at the club.
He chipped in with five goals and two assists in 15 Premier League appearances last season, helping Bournemouth secure Europa League qualification.
The Sun report that Arsenal are ‘mulling over a bid’ for Rayan, but may need to sell Gabriel Martinelli and Reiss Nelson before making a move for the Brazilian.
The Gunners believe they need to act fast, given the level of competition they face for his signature.
Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all said to be interested in the former Vasco da Gama star.
Arsenal unlikely to pursue a deal for Rayan
Rayan, who has been likened to former Real Madrid star Gareth Bale by pundit Jermain Defoe, is an explosive forward with excellent ball-carrying ability, impressive dribbling and clinical finishing.
Among wingers in Europe’s seven leagues last term, he ranked higher than the 70th percentile for progressive carries, successful dribbles and non-penalty goals.
Still, Arsenal are unlikely to pursue a deal for the Bournemouth ace, given the club’s strong options on the right wing.
Arsenal are focused on strengthening the left flank, where the young attacker has played just three times in his career.
Mikel Arteta’s side are keen on signing another natural left winger after the arrival of Christos Tzolis.
The Gunners have recently been linked with Rayan’s international team-mate Vinicius Junior, but the 26-year-old will reportedly stay at Madrid beyond this summer.
The Cherries are also unlikely to listen to offers for the teenage sensation. His £130 million release clause can only be activated from January 2027.
Rayan would have been an exciting addition to Arsenal, but the club’s priority currently lies elsewhere.
