Arsenal have spoken directly with the representatives of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior ahead of a potential approach this summer.
The Gunners have had a quiet summer transfer window. Christos Tzolis remains the only outfield signing after Piero Hincapie’s permanent move.
The club are likely to sign more high-profile players in the coming weeks, and contact has now been established with Vinicius’ camp.

They have obtained all the necessary financial requirements and approved the same at club level.

The 26-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best left wingers in world football.

Madrid president Florentino Perez has set an asking price of £137 million, which may not be out of Arsenal’s reach. The wages could be, but that could be compensated with image rights.
At Madrid, Vinicius only has 50 percent of his commercial image rights, which could be significantly higher at Arsenal. Hence, a deal could be financially feasible if Vinicius gives the nod.
