Andoni Iraola's second pre-season game is in the books and for those who didn't brave the early morning kick-off, Rio Ngumoha's second-half strike was enough for Liverpool to beat Wrexham 1-0 in New York City.
The 17-year-old was curiously shifted to the right flank for the fixture, however, sparking questions over whether a new, blockbuster left-sided forward could soon arrive. Bradley Barcola might be that player, as it is understood talks have begun with PSG over a transfer for the £145million-rated French attacker.
So far, Iraola's side have only welcomed two new recruits this summer. Victor Munoz was snapped up from Osasuna after his £34.5m release clause was triggered and Jeremy Jacquet arrived after his £60m move from Rennes was sealed in January.
However, there are still areas of concern that need to be addressed, including filling the void left by the legendary Mohamed Salah.
