Albion host Arsenal in opening WSL fixture of the season

Albion will kick off the new Barclays WSL season with a high-profile home game against three-times champions Arsenal.

The fixture will kick off at 12 noon on Sunday 6 September at the Broadfield Stadium, before three of our next four home games take place at the American Express Stadium.

We host Aston Villa there on Sunday 20 September (2pm), promoted Charlton Athletic on 4 October and West Ham United on 25 October.

A fourth Amex fixture is scheduled for 15 November against Liverpool.

The WSL restructure means there are 26 league games this season including midweek home matches at the Broadfield Stadium early in 2027 against Tottenham Hotspur and London City Lionesses.

Albion’s first away game on Sunday 13 September is against promoted Birmingham City, managed by former Albion head coach Amy Merricks, at St Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.

We finish the opening month with a trip to the Copperjax Community Stadium to take on London City Lionesses on Saturday 26 September, kick off 5pm.

All four of our games in the opening month will be shown on Sky Sports.

Other notable dates include a trip to champions Manchester City on 18 October while local rivals Crystal Palace visit the Broadfield Stadium on 1 November with the return fixture on 2 May at Sutton United.

Manchester City come to Sussex on 4 April while Chelsea are our final league opponents of 2026 at the Broadfield Stadium on 19 December.

Our away games against Arsenal and Chelsea will be at the Emirates and Stamford Bridge respectively.

All fixture dates and times in September are confirmed. Other matches are subject to change for TV coverage.
