Andoni Iraola secured back-to-back preseason wins as Liverpool edged past Wrexham 1-0 at New York's legendary Yankee Stadium.
Second-half replacement Rio Ngumoha netted the decisive goal when his effort looped up off Wrexham defender Lewis Brunt before beating former Reds goalkeeper Danny Ward. True to form, Iraola utilized his entire squad in New York and implemented wholesale changes at different stages to afford as many players as possible match time.
Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak and Ryan Gravenberch all stayed behind in Chicago to continue developing their fitness while Federico Chiesa was ruled out due to illness and Jeremy Jacquet was likewise unavailable.

Giorgi Mamardashvili, 7: Showed sharp instincts to thwart a dangerous Wrexham opportunity by rushing off his line and produced a fine stop to deny Sam Smith before the offside flag went up.
Calvin Ramsay, 6: Found it difficult to provide attacking support for Josh Abe but maintained defensive solidity throughout.
Ifeanyi Ndukwe, 7: The towering Austrian is an imposing presence at just 18 and dominated his share of duels and aerial contests during this appearance. His ball distribution will develop with experience.

Luke Chambers, 8: A supremely composed performance from Chambers at center-back. He has been virtually faultless throughout this tour. Impressively assured in possession and consistently positioned to snuff out danger.
Milos Kerkez, 6: His first start of the summer left him restricted in his attacking endeavours. Rarely called into action defensively.
Dominik Szoboszlai, 8: Looked razor-sharp on his first preseason start. Visibly embraced the captaincy for the evening and rose to the occasion with his trademark quality. The game proved somewhat beneath him at times.
Trey Nyoni, 7: Thrived in the deeper midfield berth, disrupting Wrexham's attacks while using the ball with intelligence. Could prove an invaluable asset for Iraola should he remain at the club.
Joshua Abe, 6: Spurned a gilt-edged opportunity early on but failed to convert. Featuring at senior level at just 16 speaks volumes about the esteem in which he is held.
Harvey Elliott, 7: Constantly sought possession and looked to influence proceedings in the No. 10 position. Drew a fine stop from Ward in the second half. Could emerge as a genuine asset under Iraola this season.
Calum Scanlon, 7: Another energetic showing from the adaptable left-sided player. Devastatingly rapid when bursting down the flank.
Lewis Koumas, 6: Struggled somewhat leading the line and appears better suited to wider positions.
Curtis Jones (sub), 6: Looked powerful and sharp upon his second-half introduction. Drove forward with real intent at times.
Kieran Morrison (sub), 6: Struggled to replicate his strong performance in Nashville but delivered a reasonable display operating from the left flank in this fixture.
Kostas Tsimikas (sub), 6: Should provide dependable competition for Kerkez this season if he remains at the club. Made few notable errors.
Rio Ngumoha (sub), 6: Deployed on the right wing, he began tentatively on the opposite side to where he built his reputation but netted the opening goal with a deflected strike.
James McConnell (sub), 6: Maintained midfield momentum and consistently sought to play forward-thinking passes.
Jeremie Frimpong (sub), 6: Advanced frequently down the right flank but his delivery into the box lacked the quality he would have hoped for.
Will Wright (sub), 6: Showed consistent willingness to engage physically with the Wrexham backline and worked tirelessly without possession. However, he's yet to truly demonstrate his capabilities during this pre-season campaign.
Harvey Davies (sub), 6: Had limited involvement following his substitution for Mamardashvili.

Mor Talla Ndiaye (sub), 6: Another young defender with an imposing physical presence. The Senegalese teenager integrated seamlessly into the side.
Josh Sonnie-Lambie (sub), 6: Made his first preseason appearance for the academy striker. Saw less action than he would have hoped for.
