Liverpool’s 2026/27 Women’s Super League (WSL) schedule is now official, and it lands at an encouraging moment for Gareth Taylor’s side after a busy summer of recruitment and a productive pre-season camp in Cardiff.
Supporters have seen clear signs of ambition from within the club, with transfer business like the exciting signing of Mao Itamura from Feyenoord as well as Vivien Endermann from Wolfsburg on a free transfer.

Gareth Taylor’s side headed to Cardiff on Sunday to continue their pre-season preparations ahead of the new campaign.
The new Barclays Women’s Super League season begins in early September.
Liverpool will start away at newly promoted Charlton Athletic on Sunday September 6, before a run of eye-catching early fixtures that will quickly reveal how ready the side are for the new campaign.liverpoolfc
There are also three matches scheduled for Anfield this season, with Everton, Arsenal and Aston Villa all set to visit the famous old ground. Liverpool had already confirmed that Anfield would host those three fixtures, and the derby against Everton on September 27 is likely to be the one that jumps off the page first.
That means Liverpool’s home calendar will have a split identity again, with the remaining league games staged at St Helens Stadium.
