Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri is attracting interest from Borussia Dortmund, with the Bundesliga club closely monitoring the midfielder's situation as uncertainty surrounds his future at the Emirates Stadium.
The highly-rated teenager, who is eligible to represent Nigeria, has been identified by Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle as a potential addition to his squad.
Chelle watched Nwaneri in action during a Coupe de France clash between Marseille and Rennes at the Orange Vélodrome in February.
According to The Sun UK, Borussia Dortmund are monitoring the situation of the Hale End Academy graduate and could make a move for the attacking midfielder if Arsenal decide to part ways with him this summer.
Nwaneri is among five teenagers of Nigerian descent named in Arsenal's travelling squad to Girona, alongside Andre Harriman-Annous, Ife Ibrahim, Josh Ogunnaike and Khari Ranson.
Manager Mikel Arteta is expected to assess Nwaneri during the club's pre-season preparations before making a decision on his future.
The 19-year-old currently finds himself behind 2026 World Cup stars Eberechi Eze and Martin Ødegaard in Arsenal's attacking midfield pecking order, while highly-rated academy prospect Max Dowman is also tipped to break into the first team in the near future.
Nwaneri is under contract with the Gunners until June 30, 2030.
