Social media erupted as Chelsea supporters reacted to Strasbourg’s latest kit drop, with fans venting their envy at the multi-club ownership group
Chelsea have unveiled their new 2026–27 kit, featuring a striking black away shirt with gold accents and a standalone lion crest.
However, once again, the kits have launched without a front-of-shirt sponsor. This ongoing trend stems from the club’s strategy under BlueCo ownership, holding out for a lucrative long-term agreement valued at roughly £60 million per season.
Rather than accepting lower-tier offers, Chelsea have relied on short-term temporary deals, such as last season’s bridge agreement with IFS.
And the Blues are now set to enter the 2026/27 season without a front-of-shirt sponsor.

Strasbourg release away kit for 2026/27 season
Adidas and RC Strasbourg have unveiled their 2026–27 away kit, channeling 1990s nostalgia with a striking diamond graphic design. In a nod to the club’s heritage, the shirt replaces the modern badge with Strasbourg’s original 1920–1945 crest, giving the kit a classic feel.

However, it hasn’t gone down well with some Chelsea supporters online, who are jealous of the kit their sister club has been delivered.
”Strasbourg away is my shirt of the summer so far,” this fan kicked things off with a bold take.
This fan pointed out the front of shirt sponsor: “They already have FOS and we don’t BlueCo.”
“This is beautiful,” another fan was blown away by the new kit.
Even more positive comments rolled in: “Insane.”
“BlueCo done us dirty with no FOS and a boring kit,” this supporter made a valid comparison.
Lastly, this Chelsea fan even wanted to buy one: “This is beautiful, where can I get one?”
