Chelsea are keeping tabs on Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, according to reports in Belgium.
Newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws claim that the Blues are “interested” in the German Under-21 international, but they have yet to make a “concrete offer”.
Tresoldi turned heads with his performances for Club Brugge last season, finding the back of the net 23 times in all competitions.
The 21-year-old has had teams from several countries pursuing him over the past few months.

Reports in the German press back in March claimed that Arsenal had held talks about signing the German. However, the Gunners have not made a formal approach, most likely because they need to get Gabriel Jesus off the club’s books first.
Manchester United were also credited with an interest in Tresoldi earlier this month, but they are in a similar situation to Arsenal, as they would want to find a buyer for Joshua Zirkzee before making their move.
Chelsea would have to stump up more than £30m
Het Laatste Nieuws report that Club Brugge are not particularly keen on offloading Tresoldi this summer, and they have already turned down a €35m (£30m) offer from Serie A side Roma.
It is believed that the Giallorossi have decided to drop out of the race for the striker after deciding that he is beyond their price range.
Considering Chelsea will soon have SIX forwards if Danny Welbeck does seal his move from Brighton, you can’t really see a scenario where Xabi Alonso’s side do make a sizeable bid for Tresoldi during the current transfer window.
Room could be freed up if Liam Delap, Emmanuel Emegha and Marc Guiu all leave Stamford Bridge over the coming weeks, but you do feel that the interest in Tresoldi is more with the future in mind.
