Bruno Guimaraes is set to return to pre-season training with Newcastle United despite ongoing transfer negotiations with Arsenal.
It is understood that the Magpies skipper will remain professional and refuse to put pressure on a move, despite reportedly agreeing personal terms on a five-year deal at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners are said to have proposed an offer of around £77million for the 28-year-old, but it remains to be seen if Newcastle will entertain it given they value their club captain at a minimum of £3m more.
Elsewhere, it is reported that Bradley Barcola is not looking for a move to the Emirates Stadium, as his future with PSG remains up in the air.
The 23-year-old winger has attracted substantial interest this summer, following a Ligue 1 and Champions League winning season on top of a standout World Cup campaign with France.
However, Liverpool are thought to be the frontrunners to secure Barcola's services in the coming weeks, should Les Parisiens green-light a sale.
Vinicius Junior, meanwhile, remains Arsenal's top target on the wing as they look to bolster their own attacking presence for 2026/27.
The Brazilian's representatives are understood to be holding contract negotiations with Real Madrid over a potential extension, with the La Liga titans desperate to hold onto one of their top talents.
