Manchester City have released their new away kit for the 2026/27 season after a spectacular launch on a floating pitch in Hong Kong. Phil Foden, Abdukodir Khusanov and Ryan McAidoo all helped to unveil a new strip that will be worn by City players for the coming season.

With Puma having struck a ten-year deal with the Blues that has subsequently been extended, the theme of the worker bee is present in the away strip for the 2026/27 season. Accompanying a black shirt and shorts is a yellow detail that reflects the bee as well as the vibrant city of Manchester.

Councillor Shazia Butt, Executive Member for Culture, Leisure and Libraries, Manchester City Council, said: "The worker bee is one of Manchester's most enduring and recognisable symbols and represents the values that have shaped our city for generations: hard work, resilience, community, and pride. We've worked closely with Manchester City and PUMA to ensure its use on the 26/27 Away Kit is both authentic and respectful of its significance.

"Seeing the bee showcased to a global audience through one of Manchester's most recognised institutions is a fitting celebration of our city, our people and the spirit that continues to define Manchester today."

City will wear the kit for the first time in the friendly with Inter in Hong Kong on August 1.

The Blues then take on a K-League XI and Atletico in Korea as Enzo Maresca looks to build a squad capable of competing on all fronts. Elliot Anderson has been signed for a club record £116m but more work is needed to give the Italian the group he needs to be able to challenge on all fronts into the latter part of the season.
