Cole Palmer has joked Morgan Rogers “will have the bailiffs at his door” if he does his ‘ice-cold’ goal celebration at Chelsea.
Rogers has joined Palmer at Stamford Bridge this summer after completing a British record £117m transfer from Aston Villa.
The two are good friends, having played together previously in Manchester City’s academy.
They also share the same shivering goal celebration, which Villa fans got used to seeing Rogers perform in the Premier League and Europe and which Palmer trademarked last year.
"Everyone knows how good he (Rogers) is," Palmer said.
"Obviously he’s one of my best friends so I am very happy about it."
Asked who did the goal celebration first, Palmer said: "This is just the media, this! We've never spoken about it. It's one of them. He does it. I do it.
"I've trademarked it so if he tries to do anything, he will have the bailiffs at his door (laughs). Nah, we'll do it together, I think."
