Cole Palmer issues hilarious warning to new Chelsea signing
Cole Palmer has jokingly warned new Chelsea team-mate Morgan Rogers that bailiffs could visit him if he continues using their famous cold celebration.
Rogers completed his move from Aston Villa earlier this summer, reuniting two close friends who previously developed together in Manchester City’s academy.
Both players have used the crossed-arms celebration after scoring. However, Palmer believes trademarking the gesture has settled their long-running debate over its ownership.
Cole Palmer on Morgan Rogers and 'cold' celebration:
"We've not spoken about it. It's one of them. He does it. I do it. I've trademarked it so if he tries to do anything, he will have the bailiffs at his door [jokes]. Nah, we will do it together, I think."

Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers celebration could return at Chelsea
“We’ve never spoken about it,” Palmer told BBC Sport.
“He does it. I do it. I’ve trademarked it, so if he tries to do anything, he’ll have the bailiffs at his door.”
Palmer quickly made clear that the warning was a joke. The Chelsea number ten suggested they could perform the celebration together if they combine for a goal during the coming campaign.
Rogers used the shivering pose before Palmer made it one of the Premier League’s most recognisable celebrations during his first season at Stamford Bridge.
The pair remained close after leaving Manchester City and spoke regularly while Chelsea negotiated Rogers’ move. Palmer knew about the transfer before it became public but successfully kept his friend’s decision private.
Their relationship could also help Rogers settle quickly under Xabi Alonso. Palmer prefers receiving possession between midfield and attack, while Rogers offers greater physical power and direct running from wider positions.
Chelsea’s attacking options have increased considerably this summer. João Pedro is expected to compete for the central role, while Palmer and Rogers provide two creative options behind the striker.
The Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers celebration debate may continue, but supporters could soon see the friends performing it together at Stamford Bridge.
