Everton are interested in Arsenal‘s Ethan Nwaneri but AC Milan are ready to provide stiff competition.
The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at Marseille, however, things didn’t go to plan in France. He played 26 times in the 2024/25 Premier League campaign and needs kickstart.

Milan confirm interest

The newspaper reveal that the Italian club have made initial contact with the Gunners for the signing.
Everton are the competition and are preparing an offer for the talent.
As things stand, the Gunners demand at least €35m, with RB Leipzig also in the chase. The situation, it is believed, could end up favouring Everton, as Milan are likely to opt for an initial loan with an option to buy.
This may not please Arsenal, who are seeking a permanent exit for Nwaneri.

At Arsenal in the 2024/25 campaign, Nwaneri showed he can make a significant impact as a squad player. He came off the bench multiple times to change games, and ended up scoring four times in the Premier League.
A €35m fee does feel significant but it’s not wild. The player wants to play regularly and has Premier League experience. Everton want players who can excite fans, especially amidst doubts about Iliman Ndiaye’s future.
