Earlier this month, at the Liverpool Lighthouse, a group of young people gave a compelling, emotive performance of Between The Lines – a play exploring the importance of connection, support and belonging.
A community project, organised by [Unistar Youth Theatre](https://www.unistaryouth.co.uk/youth-theatre), supported by Spirit of Shankly and Evolve Youth Theatre, it also involved youngsters from North Liverpool Academy and An Hour for Others.
Unistar worked with the groups of young people devising performances about county lines, knife crime, belonging and factors that affect crime and violence. And the importance of community.
It was a brilliant, uplifting night, and inspirational to watch the kids on stage performing their own work.
As part of our community initiative, we are proud to sponsor the weekly drama classes in Anfield and Toxteth. And we want to say a huge thank you to Unistar for working with us to bring a drama outlet to kids in these areas.
