AC Milan make enquiry to sign Arsenal’s forgotten star
Ethan Nwaneri’s possible AC Milan transfer has emerged as a possibility after the Italian club reportedly contacted Arsenal about the 19-year-old.
Milan want to sign a left-footed attacking midfielder for new head coach Ruben Amorim and have identified Nwaneri as their latest option.
Formal negotiations have not started, while Arsenal have yet to make a final decision over the academy graduate’s future.
However, the Gunners would reportedly demand at least €35million before considering a permanent sale.

According to SempreMilan, citing Corriere dello Sport, Milan have made enquiries as they assess possible additions behind the striker.
Arsenal must now decide whether to keep Nwaneri in Mikel Arteta’s first-team squad, approve another loan or consider a permanent offer.
Fulham, Everton and RB Leipzig have also shown interest, increasing the possibility of further approaches before the transfer window closes.
Nwaneri returned to Arsenal this summer after a difficult loan spell at Marseille. He made 11 appearances in France, recording two goals and one assist across 422 minutes. Arsenal’s official season review confirms those figures.
The teenager has since resumed pre-season training and scored with a curling finish during Arsenal’s 3-0 friendly victory over MK Dons.

Competition for attacking midfield minutes remains considerable. Martin Odegaard and Eberechi Eze offer established options, while Max Dowman continues to push towards a larger senior role.
