**Aggie Beever-Jones says she is finally back at full fitness and ready to help Chelsea challenge for every major trophy.**
The English forward suffered a difficult 2025/26 campaign disrupted by ankle problems, but she believes she has rediscovered her best rhythm.
Beever-Jones was limited to 17 Women’s Super League appearances last season after suffering successive injuries. She described it as the toughest year of her career and struggled to build consistent momentum.
However, the 23-year-old told [BBC Sport](https://bbc.com/sport/football/articles/c235g2vngk9o) that the World Sevens tournament arrived when she finally felt fully fit and “ready to go”.
Chelsea won the London tournament after beating Manchester United in an 11-goal final. For Beever-Jones, the competition also provided an important reminder of her quality when playing freely and without pain.
Beever-Jones described her performances at the World Sevens as her “flow state”. Although the domestic season had already ended, the tournament offered an encouraging glimpse of what Chelsea could receive from a fully fit centre-forward.
The England international has since committed her long-term future to the Blues. She signed a new contract until 2030 after scoring 24 goals across her first 58 WSL appearances.
Sonia Bompastor will need Beever-Jones to remain available following several changes to Chelsea’s attack. Sam Kerr has departed, while Melvine Malard and Manaka Matsukubo have joined the squad.
Chelsea will begin the new league season against Aston Villa on 5 September. As confirmed in [Chelsea’s 2026/27 Women’s Super League fixtures](https://readchelsea.com/2026/07/30/chelsea-officially-announce-2026-27-womens-super-league-fixtures/), every home league match will take place at Stamford Bridge for the first time.
Beever-Jones also has the 2027 Women’s World Cup in her sights. She hopes to grow the game with England while helping Chelsea “dominate domestically and in Europe”.
The Aggie Beever-Jones injury update should therefore provide Bompastor with considerable encouragement before a demanding campaign.
