A single word from Dominik Szoboszlai has got Liverpool supporters talking.
While discussing the leadership group within the squad, the Hungarian midfielder appeared to make an intriguing comment about Alexis Mac Allister—using the phrase:
“Macca if he comes back.”
The full quote was:
“I think now couple of guys have left. Maybe we are not the oldest in the team but we have been here for a long time. For example, Flo is the same example, Ryan is the same example, Macca if he comes back. Obviously, Virgil, Ali, Joey. So we are all in the same boat.”
It was only a few words, but they have inevitably sparked speculation.
A Slip of the Tongue?
