Trevoh Chalobah moves closer to Chelsea exit after fresh offer
Como are preparing an improved offer worth €30million plus bonuses for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.
The transfer is now closer than ever, with the Serie A club already understood to have reached an agreement with the player.
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Como offered €28m plus bonuses during a final round of talks on Friday morning.
Chelsea continued to demand a higher guaranteed fee, but Como are expected to return with an improved proposal on Saturday, 1 August.
The new package will include €30m as the fixed amount alongside further bonuses. Di Marzio believes the offer could prove decisive in reaching a full agreement between the clubs.

Chalobah has already agreed terms with Como after indicating that he would be open to joining Cesc Fàbregas’ side.
Chelsea previously rejected several offers for the academy graduate. Como’s most recent package before Friday was worth €25m plus €5m in add-ons, but the Blues wanted a larger guaranteed payment.
ReadChelsea reported that the proposal was not enough to complete Chalobah’s move. The planned increase should now move Como considerably closer to Chelsea’s valuation.
Chalobah’s potential departure follows Chelsea’s official signing of Maxence Lacroix. The former Crystal Palace defender has joined until 2032 and will compete for a starting position under Xabi Alonso.
Lacroix’s arrival increases the competition facing Chalobah, who remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2028.
The Trevoh Chalobah to Como transfer has not yet been completed, but Saturday’s expected offer could finally end the lengthy negotiations.
