Leeds United will out of their pre-season tour of the United States against Liverpool on Sunday.

The Whites have put some valuable miles in the legs so far on their trip Stateside.

Daniel Farke's side ran out 1-0 victors against Sunderland on Thursday local time in New Jersey last time out, with Lukas Nmecha on target.

Prior to that, Leeds were beaten 3-2 by Wrexham in Tampa, but got some valuable minutes in their preparations for the new campaign.

Now, it is a meeting with Andoni Iraola's Reds at Chicago's Soldier Field to round out the tour.

MOT Leeds News has predicted Farke to go with just three changes from the Sunderland win, in a 3-4-2-1 formation.

Daniel Farke to go unchanged at the back for Leeds

Farke went with a pretty strong line-up last time out, with Callum Mills the only academy prospect to start the game against the Black Cats.

It stands to reason that the German will again go with a strong XI, and we are predicting that Farke with stick with what he went with last time out.

That means Alex Cairns would continue to don the gloves in goal, with a back three of Sebastiaan Bornauw, Joe Rodon, and new boy Tarik Muharemovic.

Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson will likely keep their spots, though James Justin might be an option should Farke rest either player.

Where Farke may look to shake things up is in the midfield engine room.

Sean Longstaff and Ao Tanaka were given the nod in the Sunderland clash, but Farke might want to make a couple of changes.

Captain Ethan Ampadu might come back into the starting XI, with Anton Stach coming in alongside side.

The third change could see Dan James given the nod to start with Harry Wilson supporting a sole striker, which would mean youngster Mills drops out of the starting line-up.

Consequently, he is likely to get the chance to go again against Liverpool, with Joel Piroe remaining on the bench.
