Optimism at Chelsea is high after a highly disappointing 2025/26 season. The appointment of Xabi Alonso as the club’s new manager has raised expectations of all connected with the club. New players have joined, some have departed, and more ins and outs are expected in the coming weeks. La Liga giants Barcelona have been linked with a move for Chelsea’s star attacker Joao Pedro.
