Liverpool’s pursuit of Bradley Barcola may have received another timely boost, with Paris Saint-Germain reportedly stepping up their search for attacking reinforcements before the transfer window closes.
The Reds have made the France international one of their leading targets as Andoni Iraola continues reshaping his squad, and developments in Paris could work in Liverpool’s favour if PSG decide to freshen up their forward line with another marquee signing.

According to MARCA, the Ligue 1 champions are now accelerating their interest in Barcelona forward Ferran Torres.
The report claims PSG are prepared to go all-in for the Spain international, with direct talks between the two clubs expected as they attempt to agree a transfer fee.
MARCA adds that Torres has just one year remaining on his Barcelona contract and has received no indication that the Catalan club intend to open renewal talks.
The former Manchester City winger has reportedly accepted that he is no longer viewed as a priority despite impressing during this year’s World Cup, leaving him open to a move away from Camp Nou.
Should PSG complete a deal for Torres, it would hand Liverpool fresh encouragement in their pursuit of Barcola.
While Luis Enrique’s side are reluctant to lose one of Europe’s brightest young attackers, bringing in another high-profile winger would strengthen their options and could make negotiations with the Reds more realistic.
Liverpool’s interest in Barcola has intensified in recent days, with DaveOCKOP exclusively revealing that Liverpool have submitted an opening bid for the player in an attempt to test PSG’s resolve.
The 23-year-old is understood to be open to a Premier League move after becoming frustrated by a lack of starts in PSG’s biggest matches, while he has also declined to extend his current contract in Paris.
The main stumbling block remains PSG’s valuation, with the French champions believed to want around £145 million for the winger.
If PSG succeed in landing Torres, however, Liverpool will hope it proves to be the breakthrough that finally opens the door to Barcola’s arrival at Anfield.
