Everton chiefs have flown out to Istanbul to get a deal done to sign Galatasaray forward Baris Alper Yilmaz, according to journalist Burhan Can Terzi.
The Toffees have been working hard to bolster their attack this summer, making Tyrique George's loan move from Chelsea permanent, while they are also keen on bringing back Jack Grealish from Man City during the transfer window.
But the club are also keen to make more deals happen as David Moyes looks to compete for European football in the 2026/27 season, and it has now emerged that they have tabled an offer for a new signing.

According to a report in Turkey, Everton have made an offer worth €35m (£30m) to Galatasaray to sign forward Baris Alper Yilmaz.
Yilmaz, who has been compared to Gareth Bale and described as 'very special', enjoyed a fine campaign with the Turkish side as they won the Super Lig title, as he scored 12 goals and registered 16 assists in all competitions.
Those performances have caught the attention of the Toffees, and they have made their move to get a deal over the line and finally bring him to the Premier League, after several transfer windows worth of links.
It's understood that Everton chiefs have flown out to Istanbul to hold talks with Galatasaray over a deal, armed with a formal offer to get negotiations underway.
It's unclear if the player would be open to the move, considering he is set to feature in the Champions League once again, or if Galatasaray would be open to a sale this summer.

Everton have always been a club that haven't been able to splash huge money on signings, but when they feel they have the right target they will do what they can to get it over the line.
The club went hard for Jack Grealish last summer and got a loan deal done, but with it currently being unclear if he will return for a second spell, Everton are ready to move on to alternative options, and Yilmaz would be a huge coup.
A top international, with experience at the highest level who can score and create regularly is exactly what this team is lacking, and if they can convince everyone to get a deal done, then it would be ideal business.
