Liverpool want €60m attacker who idolises Lamine Yamal

This one isn’t about Bradley Barcola, we promise.

As hard as it is to believe, Liverpool have been linked with a handful of attackers apart from the French international.

Earlier today, we reported on Read Liverpool that Reds target Matias Fernandez-Pardo has been left out of the Lille squad after formally asking to leave the club.

The likes of Yankuba Minteh and Said El Mala have also been mentioned, but reports from Germany have thrown a new name into the mix: Oskar Pietuszewski.

Fussball Daten have confirmed that Liverpool are among the clubs interested in signing the 18-year-old Polish wonderkid who currently plies his trade with FC Porto.

He is predominantly a right-winger but is also capable of playing on the left and is incredibly quick, making him an intriguing prospect.

The report also mentions interest from a host of European giants such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle United, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, among others.

Pietuszewski is certainly one of the most coveted youngsters on the planet and has become one to watch despite joining Porto in January this year.

🇵🇱 Oskar Pietuszewski is a special player.

Speaking earlier this year, the Polish attacker said he draws inspiration from Lamine Yamal, who is widely held as the gold standard in that position.

According to One Football, Yamal is who he wants to emulate in terms of his position and Robert Lewandowski is understandably his idol, while he used to have posters of Lionel Messi growing up.

However, he has a release clause of around €60m and personally, we can’t see Liverpool paying such a fee for a young player who hasn’t played enough football despite his outrageous potential.
