Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to make a move for Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, as Roberto De Zerbi continues his first-team overhaul. While it is claimed that Spurs have made approaches in the ballpark of around £55million, the Turkish giants are thought to value Osimhen at £10m more.
Elsewhere in North London, Arsenal are edging closer to a move for Bruno Guimaraes, albeit, no move is contract just yet. Despite claims that a deal has been struck with Newcastle United captain, and a medical is booked in for Monday, Chronicle Live understand that there is still no official approach from the Gunners.
Whether that changes over the next 24 hours, with Guimaraes set to link up with his team-mates in La Manga remains to be seen.
Manchester United, meanwhile, have been given the green light to hijack Paris Saint-Germain's move for Ajax winger, Mika Godts. A deal may not come cheap, however, with the Eredivisie mainstays valuing the 21-year-old at around £51m.

Guimaraes is set to fly out to La Manga on Sunday to get his pre-season preparations with United underway. Whether an official offer from Arsenal will land over the next 24 hours, remains to be seen.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly on the market for Victor Osimhen this summer, as Roberto De Zerbi looks to strengthen his attacking line for the new season.
The Galatasaray sensation is valued at around £65m at present, however, so the North London outfit may need to improve initial approaches to the tune of £55m which have been reported by CaughtOffside.
The ball is ultimately in the Turkish outfit's court, given Osimhen is under contract until 2029.

Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes is reportedly set to have a medical at Arsenal on Monday. The Times report an £80m deal has been agreed for the 28-year-old, who is set to join the north London club from Newcastle United on a five-year deal.
It comes amid reports that Christian Norgaard is expected to make a £7m move to Everton.

Having wrapped up deals for Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson, Chelsea are now closing in on their fifth summer arrival.

The 20-year-old scored the winning goal in the play-off final when Sunderland won promotion before moving to the Seagulls. Last year he spent time on loan at Millwall.

Arsenal are still working on a deal for Julian Alvarez, despite their attempts to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid.
Atletico Madrid star Alvarez emerged as a target for the Gunners early in the transfer window and the Independent claims they are still actively pursuing a deal.
It would be some going to land both.

Tottenham boss Roberto De Zerbi revealed he has been in touch with Cristian Romero, but not over his future. Asked whether the Argentina international was leaving, De Zerbi said:
"I don't know. I texted with Cuti this morning and yesterday to make a plan for when he comes back to London, not for the transfer market.
"That's not my job.
"I know there are many solutions in the transfer market but I did not follow the negotiations."

It's been coming for days but it still doesn't quite feel real that Danny Welbeck is now officially a Chelsea player.

Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie has taken to YouTube to give his thoughts on a move to Man United for Newcastle defender Lewis Hall.
"Man United do want to sign Lewis Hall," he said. "They are thinking of putting something together to sign him. They think it will be difficult to do and it will be difficult to do.
"Newcastle absolutely don't want to sell him and he's propbably worth £60m, something like that, maybe more - it's a lot of money.
"They like him, they are short at left-back and are exploring the possibility of doing a deal.
"It's in its early stages but it's probably a link that is not going to go away."

Newly-promoted Premier League Ipswich Town have confirmed the departure of Sam Szmodics to Championship Derby County.
Szmodics has left Ipswich on a season-long loan to reunite with John Eustace at the Rams, where he spent the latter half of last season.
It's understood there is an obligation to buy Szmodics for around £2.7m, which is based on appearances.

All change at West Ham United after their relegation to the Championship last season.
Freddie Potts is about to follow Mateus Fernandes out of the London Stadium exit door according to reports, with Belgian side Club Brugge keen on the boyhood Hammer.
The deal, reported on X by Sacha Tavolieri, is reportedly worth around £10m for West Ham.
That is a huge boost for Nuno Espirito Santo's side given the fee will count as 'pure profit' due to Potts' status as an academy player.
West Ham have already sanctioned the big-money sales of Fernandes and Crysencio Summerville.

PSG are closing in on the signing of Maghnes Akliouche.
The attacking midfielder looks set to swap Monaco for PSG this summer having been linked with a move to Liverpool.
The 24-year-old was on duty with France at the World Cup in North America.

Lewis Hall is a transfer target for Manchester United but a deal to sign the Newcastle ace could be 'complicated'.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who has pointed to the deals done by the Magpies this summer.
Anthony Gordon and Sandro Tonali have already departed St. James' Park while Bruno Guimaraes is on his way out to Arsenal.
"My understanding is that Newcastle will make their (Man United's) life complicated," Romano said. "Newcastle don’t want to sell Lewis."

Interesting developments from Germany late last night as Florian Plettenberg, of the country's Sky Sport operation, claims the line has gone dead between Real Madrid and RB Leipzig on the deal for Yan Diomande.
It's still exptected that the deal will go through, finally ending one of the transfer sagas of the summer.
As for Diomande, Plettenberg reports that 'he wants the move to Real Madrid, has mentally moved on from Leipzig, and is hoping the clubs will reach an agreement soon'.

The German journalist Christian Falk claims that the Red Devils are keeping an eye on Sesko if he fails to make the grade at Old Trafford.

Real Madrid have made Vinicius Jr their final contract offer, according to reports in Spain.
Marca claim that Real have offered a new deal to the winger, but there will be no further contract offer and this is a take-it-or-leave-it approach from the Spanish giants.
Now, all eyes are on Vini to see what he does next. If he declines the offer, Arsenal will be on red alert as Real will not countenance his contract running into its final year with him potentially able to leave for free next summer.

Giorgio Scalvini is reportedly attracting interest from Premier League clubs.
Chelsea and Newcastle are among the suitors taking a look at the Serie A starlet.
Scalvini has impressed with Atalanta in the Italian first division, and his agent has been pushing for a move to England.
It's claimed by The Evening Standard that Scalvini has a valuation of around £34million.

Manchester United are reportedly looking to capitalise on the chaos at Newcastle by springing a move for Lewis Hall.
The left-back was a surprise exclusion from Thomas Tuchel's World Cup squad, but has impressed on several occasions for the Magpies.
It's said the United hierarchy view Hall as a potential long-term replacement for Luke Shaw.
The Sun are reporting United have earmarked Hall as a transfer target and could decide to spring a move in the coming weeks.

Manchester City boss Enzo Maresca has issued an update on Rodri's future.
The midfielder - who captained Spain to the World Cup - has been linked with a move to Real Madrid.
Speaking on the Blues' pre-season tour, Maresca remarked: "It's just about speculation at the moment. Rodri had the surgery last Monday; everything was fine.
"Now, some days off and he'll be back with us when he finishes his holiday...
"As I said, the main focus for him when the season finished was the World Cup. Now, he is enjoying some rest after that and we didn't have any conversations just focused on Rodri."

'Saudi could be an option for Rashford' - Ex-Man Utd assistant manager
The Saudi Pro League could be an option for Marcus Rashford.
The winger's future is still up in the air after a loan stint at Barcelona.
Rene Meulensteen told Andy's Bet Club: "Saudi Arabia could be an option for Rashford depending on what he wants. When he left Manchester United, we felt he had fallen out of love with the manager or the club. I would assume he has a different relationship with Michael Carrick.
"He is still a player who can make a difference, as we saw in the game against France. I don't know why he came off at half-time in that game, but he did well.
"It baffled me why Tuchel didn't bring him and Bukayo Saka on earlier in the Argentina game because their pace would have provided a perfect outlet.
"He obviously wants to play at the highest level. It is interesting that Barcelona went for Anthony Gordon instead of signing Marcus Rashford, there might be something there.
"Perhaps one of the other big clubs will sign him so he can keep playing in the Champions League. Or he might make a move to Saudi or maybe the MLS, who knows?"

Manchester City have reportedly agreed a deal for Ayyoub Bouaddi.
That's according to talkSPORT, who say the Morocco midfielder will be bound for Etihad Stadium.
Bouaddi impressed at the World Cup, with City registering an interest in the midfielder.
The deal is expected to be worth £86million, but exactly when Bouaddi joins City remains to be seen.
There is a suggestion that the teenager could stick around at Ligue 1 side Lille for the 2026/27 season.
However, that would likely make the fee lower, as City wouldn't be getting the player for another 12 months.

The Gunners earmarked the Newcastle man as a potential option and have been courting him all summer.
As per ESPN, the departure of Eddie Howe looks likely to work in Arsenal's favour, with confidence high in North London.
Guimaraes has been earmarked as a target as Mikel Arteta wants to strengthen his midfield options.
Arsenal have never defended a Premier League crown and Arteta is keen to become the first manager at the club to do that.

Manchester United have confirmed the exit of Tyler Fredricson.
The youngster is set to join Swiss side Lausanne-Sport on a permanent deal.
He's been with United since an early age and had broke into the first time under Ruben Amorim.
However, he was unable to establish himself with the seniors and as a result has been let go.
While Lausanne is an unusual destination, the Swiss outfit are owned by INEOS, which could make it easier for United to bring him back if needed.
A statement from United read: "A lifelong Red from south Manchester, he worked diligently while proudly rising through the ranks of our world-famous youth system.
"The 21-year-old played in every round of our 2022 FA Youth Cup campaign as the side reached the final, before illness prevented him from playing in the showpiece occasion against Nottingham Forest.
"The defender made his first-team debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 20 April 2025 and went on to make further appearances against Brentford, Grimsby Town and Newcastle United.
"Joining the club at under-nine level, Tyler has been a model professional throughout his time with the club and a popular member of our academy squads.

Liverpool are reportedly preparing their first bid for Bradley Barcola.
That's according to BBC Sport, who report the Reds are ready to table a financial offer for the Paris Saint-Germain star.
He's unlikely to come cheap though, with PSG said to have valued Barcola at a cool £145m.
The Frenchman has two years left on his PSG contract, but has fallen out of favour and isn't considered an automatic starter.
Liverpool are desperate for a Mohamed Salah replacement, and had been courting Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig.
However, the Ivorian is Real Madrid bound instead, meaning Liverpool are having to look elsewhere.
