Liverpool is continuing to actively pursue options in the transfer market, as preseason preparations ramp up to the next level for the week ahead.
The Reds have been heavily linked with a move for Bradley Barcola as a new arrival in the frontline, as he could end up as the long-term successor to Mohamed Salah. A midfielder and a right-sided defender could also be on the radar, but are further down the priority list.
Elsewhere, links have persisted over an exit for Curtis Jones, while forward Cody Gakpo has also become an option for Premier League rival Tottenham.
