Leeds United are set to round off their tour of the USA by facing fellow Premier League side Liverpool in Chicago.
Daniel Farke’s side have already faced two friendly tests across the pond, facing Championship outfit Wrexham and fellow top-flight side Sunderland.
Leeds were beaten 3-2 by the former in Florida but emerged as 1-0 victors over the latter in New Jersey. The Whites will now end their tour at Soldier Field in Chicago, coming up against the Reds for the first time since their appointment of Andoni Iraola as Arne Slot’s successor.

There could be another outing for defender Tarik Muharemović, who made his first Leeds appearance in the win over Sunderland. Fellow new recruit Harry Wilson is likely to feature again having appeared in the meetings with Wrexham and Sunderland.
Farke may also give further opportunities to some of his young prospects having already given pre-season minutes to the likes of Jayden Lienou and Callum Mills.
Regarding Leeds’ plans for the rest of pre-season, Farke said: “Just more hard work, of course, so to build the physicality for a long season of more or less 11 months. Of course, we work a lot tactically on our defensive behaviour, offensive behaviour.”
